The monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, June 27th at the International House of Pancakes, 5403 Stevens Creek Boulevard in Santa Clara (just off Hwy 280). We have the room reserved from 6PM, and the meeting will start around 7PM.

The next BASA meeting will be Wednesday May 30, 2007.

Dr. Walter Cannon will give a presentation about medical factors for glider pilots. Dr. Cannon is a surgeon on the staff of the Palo Alto Medical Clinic, a Clinic Professor of Medicine at Stanford Medical School, a long-time glider pilot and a competitor in regional and national soaring competitions.

Quest Richlife of Hollister Gliding Club will also give a brief presentation about standard operating procedures
at Hollister.

Finally, the 2007 Calendar has been updated.

Our recently sold 1-34 (N7632) is now assembled and flying off the winch of the Prescott Soaring Society in Arizona. Here’s a picture in its new habitat.

By all accounts, the ship has found an excellent new home.

Harry Fox wrote up a document for pilots new to flying the Pegasus and has been giving it out to BASA members making the transition to single seat, high performance gliders for a few years now.
