DG-1000 has returned, Grob leaving, 1LV Radio

The DG-1000 is back in Hollister and will be assembled by Charlie Hayes first thing Sunday morning. The afternoon time slots for the DG-1000 on Sunday are currently open.

At the end of the day on Sunday, Charlie will need help to disassemble the Grob, which will be going to Williams for its annual inspection and various repairs. Steve Saglio and Michael Nelson have volunteered to help, but we could use one or two more to help out. If you would like to help with this, please contact Charlie.

Note that the radio has been removed from 1LV for repair. You’ll need a hand-held radio with this glider. Also, note the effect of the radio removal on weight and balance. 1LV tends to have a rearward CG to begin with, so the lighter pilots may need to bring extra cockpit ballast.
