Pegasus 1LV Headed to Hollister
We were expecting to have Pegasus 9JH back flying this week, but in one of the final steps of the process the paint shop ruined an aileron by heating it too high in a curing oven. It appears we can get a replacement from Centrair in France, but that will likely take several weeks. The paint shop will pay for the replacement.
Since no one has reserved 1LV at Truckee for this weekend, Charlie Hayes has volunteered to trailer it from Truckee to Hollister tomorrow (Friday Sept. 9). Therefore, 1LV will be available to fly at Hollister this weekend, although it will need assembly Saturday morning.
