Next Meeting Tuesday May 31st
The next BASA meeting will be Tuesday night May 31, at the International House of Pancakes, 5403 Stevens Creek Boulevard in Santa Clara (just off hwy 280 - see map). We have the room reserved from 6PM. Harry Fox will give a presentation on the use of web-based forecasting tools for soaring, including Dr. Jack’s BLIPMAP and BLIPSPOT products. The presentation will show the use of these tools to focus on a particular day and decide whether it will be worth flying, starting with long-range forecasts 10 days out.
